A few thoughts on identity

Erik Erikson defines ego-identity as “the increase in personality maturity that a person must have at the end of adolescence taken from the fullness of his childhood experiences in order to be equipped for the tasks of adult life.”

It is a feeling for an inner self-self-sameness, a knowledge of one’s own distinctiveness and its affirmation.

Ultimately, your identity depends on the stories and experiences you constantly remember through your own words and actions, which give you a picture of who you are!

What episodes of your life do you constantly remember? Are they the ones that strengthen you and make you do new things?
