Moderation

The targeted use of moderation methods is nowadays part of the standard repertoire of every executive and trainer. Moderation methods are used, among other techniques, in organizational development, in seminars and conferences, in meetings and in project and quality management, in schools, in pedagogy and in adult education.

Professionally led moderations encourage the creativity of the participants, make ideas accessible to all, and help the group to arrive at results and decisions that are shared and implemented by everyone. As a moderator, one has to ensure that the participants participate actively during the entire group process  to be able to solve tasks and achieve sustainable results effectively.

Important for the success of this joint decision-making are also the atmosphere, the roles in the group, the openness and the handling of divergent opinions.
